Fallen Riviera - free live performance
Friday, March 1st 6:00 PM
Will Parry and Steve Ornest began writing music together while studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. They sent their early demos to music industry professionals in Los Angeles, and encouraged by their response, decided to make the move. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles they met bassist Matthew Denis and drummer Aviv Cohen, and Fallen Riviera was born.
The band hit the local club circuit hard, gradually building a loyal fan base. They released an EP called Six Mines, which was ranked album of the year by Music Connection Magazine and awarded them the 2011 Lauren Picard Emerging Artist of the Year Award at Cornell University.
After receiving an artist endorsement with Casio, Fallen Riviera released a music video for their song “This Is Who I Am.” They returned to the studio with legendary producer Ken Scott (Beatles, Elton John, David Bowie) and recorded “Somebody Take Me,” earning the band a full page artist profile in Music Connection Magazine. "Somebody Take Me" is now in rotation on terrestrial FM radio programs such as KWSS, KTHO, and KRHV.
Fallen Riviera is now set to release their much-anticipated debut full length album, Another World, recorded with Wyn Davis and Ken Scott.
